About Scott & Quinn Real Estate
Scott & Quinn Real Estate was founded in 1986 and was located in our original location in the heart of Mission Hills. In 2004 we added a branch office in Normal Heights at 30th and Adams Avenue and last year a third branch began operation in South Park.
The company is locally owned and is staffed by 20 experienced professionals. The company philosophy is simple: Provide a boutique level of personal, high-quality service to our clients.
The firm provides a wide variety of real estate service from commercial purchases to property management. Because S&Q is locally owned, the staff has the flexibility and expertise to provide thinking outside of the franchise-box.
The company believes in a cooperative approach and works toward building consensus amongst the stake-holders in every transaction. Real estate can be frustrating and there are always plenty of potholes in the road. I know my problem-solving ability and people-skills will add value to any transaction, and this is very critical in this era of hard times in real estate.

My Background
I graduated from San Diego State College in 1966 with a degree in Marketing and obtained a Master's Degree in 1972 in History. After a stint teaching that subject in two different junior colleges, I worked as a probation officer for San Diego County. During that employment I started buying properties and eventually got my broker's license and set up shop in 1982, later teaming up with Jeff Quinn in 1986 to launch Scott & Quinn Real Estate.
